Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when my certificate matures?

We'll notify you before maturity. You can withdraw funds, renew at current rates, or transfer to another account. If no action is taken, it auto-renews.

Can I withdraw early?

Early withdrawal is possible but incurs a penalty (typically 90-180 days of interest). Consider our No-Penalty Certificate if flexibility is important.

How is interest paid?

Interest compounds daily and can be credited monthly to another account, or compounded within the certificate until maturity.

What's the difference between CD and Share Certificate?

They're essentially the same! Credit unions call them Share Certificates, while banks use CD (Certificate of Deposit). Same benefits, different names.
